COMPASS product update: March 2026 cover

March was a build-and-polish month. We started giving review teams a clearer signal about which numbers to trust, kept assembling the pieces behind public subcontractor profiles, added a new health and safety question to the 1Form, and cleared a long backlog of fixes. Here is what shipped.

Verification cues for review teams

Review teams get a clearer signal about which numbers need a second look. A verification icon now appears in the sidebar and next to financial fields, and data admins see it flag any autofilled value that has been overwritten. It is the first piece of a larger effort to point reviewers straight at the values that need judgment, instead of re-checking everything by hand.

The building blocks of public sub profiles

We kept assembling the pieces behind subcontractor public profiles. Subs are getting a dedicated public profile tab, an editor for the statistics they choose to show, a “Powered by COMPASS” footer with a clear privacy policy, and the ability to upload their own company logo. Permissions were opened up so the whole team, not just admins, can manage the public site, and sharing a profile to LinkedIn now generates a clean preview image. Groundwork this month; more visible next.

A new health and safety question on the 1Form

The 1Form gained a new health and safety question covering safety management and planning, live across the US, Canadian, and UK forms. We also moved more subcontractors into comprehensive flows, so the depth of the submission matches the work. Better questions going in mean a more complete safety picture coming out.

A smoother first sign-in for subs

We removed an automatic approvals popup that interrupted a subcontractor's very first sign-in, so new subs land on their work instead of a modal. We also reordered the authorization confirmation step on smaller screens to make it easier to get through, and closed a gap that let it be skipped by editing the URL.
