COMPASS Q Score
The Q Score is a relative measure of a company’s ability to fulfil contract obligations on time and on budget. It is calculated by utilizing Business, Finance, and Health & Safety variables collected from COMPASS 1 Form.
Subcontractors are scored and ranked among their primary trade type, as there are variances in balance sheet, capital structure, and labor and capital requirements between trade types. The Q Score ranges from Strongest to Weakest Execution Ability, Q 1.0 to Q 7.9 respectively. The Trade Rank is based on the Q Score and indicates the overall position of the company within the primary trade type.
